Why Akacen fits your partner programme

Akacen is an independent publisher. This page is the short version of how we work, so a partner team reviewing an application can see the standards a product is placed under before approving it.

What we publish

The Digital Business vertical covers every topic with its own hub, guides, comparison blocks and brand pages. A new guide goes live every day in the daily Melbourne edition.

The standards every placement sits under

  1. 1. Original, human-edited guides

Every guide is written for one reader question, checked against the whole site so no topic or headline repeats, and rejected before publication if it is thin, padded or duplicated.

  2. 2. Recommendations come after the answer

Readers get the answer first. Products appear below the body text, capped at four per guide, each with a plain 'Best for' and 'Not for' line so nobody is pushed towards the wrong product.

  3. 3. Disclosure above the first partner link

A standing disclosure sits above the first partner mention on every page, plus a trust strip reading: independently researched, no paid placements, every recommendation disclosed.

  4. 4. Compliant link handling

Partner links are marked sponsored and nofollow, open in a new tab, and run through one central record. Tracking URLs are used exactly as the programme supplies them — never shortened, re-tagged or rewritten.

  5. 5. Own brand page for every product

Each recommended product gets a dedicated page covering what it is, who it suits, who should skip it, pricing shape and two honest alternatives — so the product is explained, not just linked.

  6. 6. No misleading marketing

No fake urgency, no invented testimonials, no fabricated traffic claims, no brand-term bidding without permission, no coupon spam, and no placements where a programme's terms do not allow them.

  7. 7. Daily, dated publishing

A new guide is published every day, with a published date and a last-reviewed date on each page, and a rolling review pass that refreshes older guides rather than leaving them stale.

  8. 8. Search-ready by construction

Server-rendered HTML, unique titles and descriptions, self-referencing canonicals, Article, HowTo, FAQ and Breadcrumb structured data, sitemap and RSS updated on publish.

  9. 9. Transparent reporting

Clicks are counted per brand and per page on our side, so we can show a programme exactly which guides send traffic instead of asking them to take our word for it.

  10. 10. Public accountability pages

Editorial policy, review method, corrections, affiliate disclosure and results disclaimer are all public and linked from every page footer.

See it in practice

Operating commitment. We publish one guide a day across the network in our daily Melbourne edition and let the first 90 days run without changing strategy, adding niches, or redesigning. That gives every partner enough published pages and enough time to see real traffic before deciding whether the fit is right.

Reviewing an application and need anything else — sample guides, click data for a specific page, or a placement mock-up? Email affiliate@akacen.com and we will send it the same week.

What we never do

  • No paid rankings, paid reviews or paid guest posts.
  • No invented test results, numbers or testimonials.
  • No hidden partner links — every one is labelled.
  • No recommendation without a plain "not for" line.
