This policy applies to akacen.com and to the review pages published on our akacen.com subdomains.
What we collect
When you ask to view one of our PDF guides, we ask for your name and email address. We also store the date of the request and a scrambled (hashed) form of your network address, which we use only to stop automated abuse. Our hosting and analytics providers may record standard technical information such as browser type and pages viewed.
How we use it
We use your name and email to give you access to the guide you asked for and, if you agreed, to send occasional emails about related guides and reviews. We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with advertisers.
Cookies
We set a small cookie after you unlock a guide so you do not have to fill in the form again on your next visit. You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings; the site will simply ask for your details again.
Third parties
Products we write about are sold by other companies and marketplaces. If you click through to a seller, their own privacy policy applies to anything you do on their site. We do not receive your payment details.
Keeping your data
We keep guide requests for as long as we run the guide library, stored in a private database that is not readable by the public. You can ask us to delete your details or to stop emailing you at any time, and we will action it.
Children
Akacen is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

To ask about your information, or to have it removed, contact us through the email address you received your guide from. If this policy changes we will update this page.
